Dowry has a special place in the legal system of the family and has been considered as one of the financial rights of women from the point of view of jurisprudence and law. The verbal and practical life of the imams and the elders have always emphasized this and recommended the lightness of its amount as a gift from the man; But over time, this type of attitude has undergone changes and its rate has been increasing, so that it has created concerns in various scientific, social and research fields. Therefore, it is considered important to investigate and analyze the amount of dowry in order to find the root of the problem and its role in the security of the woman in the family. In order to explain the impact of dowry on the safety of women in the family, this research deals with the essential points in this field so that it can bring stability and efficiency to the family by looking at it effectively.
