Abstract: As the most important and fundamental support in Islamic education, Quran and hadiths have dealt with various topics from diverse perspectives and directions. In such a way that the research and examination of the topics in these two valuable sources and the use of methods of understanding and exploration in the texts of interpretation lead to a deep understanding of religious teachings. This research, which is a descriptive-analytical method, aims to address one of the challenging issues in today's society with the help of the Qur'an and authentic traditions, and to compare the viewpoints of the commentators of the parties on this matter, and to identify the commonalities and differences of their opinions with He achieved the goal of bringing religions together. What was obtained in this article; According to the clear text of the Qur'an and hadiths, the maximum duration of breastfeeding is two years, and Shia and Sunni commentators in cases; The duration of breastfeeding, no need to finish the breastfeeding period, providing for the woman's needs, paying a fair wage to the nanny, thirty months of pregnancy and weaning the baby, no harm and loss to the parents in the matter of breastfeeding.
